The Stranahan Engineering program would not be what it is today without our
sponsors. They donate money, volunteer their time and services, supply
guest speakers and field trips, and work hand in hand with our staff to create
new projects for the students.
This page highlights the many people, companies, and organizations that help
us continually improve the Engineering Program at Stranahan.

- The City of Ft. Lauderdale's WaterWorks 2011 project and the CH2M Hill
Company have worked with the Stranahan staff to create the WaterWorks 2011 cost
estimation project. They are also a Platinum Sponsor contributing generous
donations to the Engineering Program every year. Tom McCormick,
Nannett Woods and Micheal Mackenzie, all from CH2M
Hill, have been instrumental in making this partnership a success.

- The Florida Engineering Society has worked with Stranahan for several
years. They are financial sponsors of our Robotics Program and also
sponsor a team to compete in the Ft. Lauderdale Plywood Regatta. During
National Engineers week FES will have speakers and presentations on campus to
inform students of the many possibilities they have in the Engineering Fields.
Pete Sheridan and Jim Thompson have been very
active in our STEP Partnership.

- Motorola has come forward this year and offered financial support for our
Robotics Program this year. We hope to continue this valuable
partnership by using Motorola engineers as mentors for future projects.

- FIU has worked with Stranahan Engineering over the past several years.
They have provided field trips to visit their facilities, educational
presentations, and lectures. We hope to expand their participation by
having professors and undergrad students mentor our robotics program.
